Todd Moitz, an insurance agent from San Diego, became the 7th MEGA Millions winner from California when he won a 57 million jackpot on January 2, 2009. Moitz could hardly believe his luck when he checked the numbers on his winning ticket, “I had to have my roommate double check the numbers for me.” Though he doesn’t have immediate plans for his prize, Moitz has elected to receive his money in a single lump sum.
