Antioch Man Claims $210,000 Fantasy 5 Ticket

SACRAMENTO – The winner of a Fantasy 5 ticket worth $210,837 has stepped forward to claim his prize.

The man – who wishes to remain anonymous – claimed his prize today at the California Lottery’s Sacramento District Office. He is a retiree and a former serviceman who served in the United States Air Force. He and his wife of 52 years plan on taking a vacation to Australia and New Zealand.

The ticket was purchased at the VFW Post #6435, which is located at 815 Fulton Shipyard Road. The numbers on the winning ticket are 2, 17, 19, 32 and 37.

More than 95 cents of every Lottery dollar is returned to the community in the form of contributions to education, prizes and retail commissions. The California Lottery contributes at least 34 cents of every dollar that players spend on Lottery products to public education and returns more than 50 percent of sales to players in the form of prizes. Since its inception in 1985, the Lottery has contributed nearly $21 billion to California schools out of total sales of more than $56 billion. Retailers benefit too, earning $3.6 billion in compensation since 1985.
